Get a 3D model printed in time for Halloween

Order by Thursday 22 October to have your print in time for Halloween. Monday 26 October is a bank holiday, so post will be slower that week. If you’re later than that, email sales@rapid3d.ie and we’ll tell you honestly whether a small print can still make it.

1. Articulated skeletons and dragons

Print-in-place models come off the printer fully jointed, with no assembly needed. A skeleton or a bat-winged dragon makes a great desk ornament or party favour, and kids love them. Most are small, so they’re one of the cheapest things you can order.

2. Jack-o’-lantern lights

A printed pumpkin with an LED tealight inside glows brilliantly in the window and lasts for years, unlike the real thing. Use LED tealights only. Plastic and naked flames don’t mix, and we won’t print anything designed to hold a real candle.

3. Skull planters and pen pots

These are spooky for October and still useful the rest of the year. A skull pot on your desk works for pens, a small succulent or makeup brushes. PLA in a bone white or matte black looks the part.

4. Bats, spiders and wall decorations

Flat silhouettes print quickly and cheaply, so you can order a whole colony of bats for the hallway or a spider for the front door. Use removable adhesive strips and they come off cleanly on 1 November.

5. Costume props

Horns, ears, badges and small props can finish a costume. For anything you’ll wear or handle a lot, choose PETG. It’s tougher and won’t snap if it takes a break at a party.

6. Multi-colour pieces

Our printer switches between four colours automatically, so pumpkins can be orange with a green stem and skulls can have black eye sockets, all in one print.

Where to find designs

Our homepage links straight to Printables with the filter set to designs licensed for us to print. Search “Halloween”, “skull” or “articulated” and you’ll find hundreds. Avoid designs based on film or game characters, as we can’t print copyrighted or trademarked characters.
