About Rapid3D.ie
Hi, I'm Max, and I run Rapid3D.ie from Clonskeagh in Dublin. I've been 3D printing for a while and I turned that into Rapid3D.ie.
I started it because getting something 3D printed in Ireland felt harder than it needed to be. Emailing a file, waiting for a reply, hoping the price was fair. So I built it the way I'd want it: upload your file, see your price instantly and have your part posted to your door. The process is truly "rapid"!
What we print
We print your files in over 10 variations of filaments on our own printers here in Dublin. We've printed prototypes, project parts, display models, gifts and even PC cases. We print whatever you've got a file for. We print things for students on a deadline, engineers and designers testing an idea, makers whose printer is busy or broken, and anyone who wants one part without buying a machine. Lots of them have never ordered a print before, so feel free to ask questions!
Our equipment and filament
We print on a Bambu Lab P1S which is paired with a Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro, which holds four spools at once, switches between them automatically for multi-colour prints, and stores the filament sealed.
We exclusively use Bambu Lab filament. It's made to work with our printer, so the AMS reads each spool automatically and sets the right material and colour. Sticking to one trusted brand keeps the quality and colours consistent from order to order. If you need a special Bambu Lab filament, contact us!
How it works
I check every file myself before it prints. The photos on this site are real prints from our own printers. You see the full price before you pay. The price on the quote tool is the exact price you pay, not an estimate. We post anywhere in the Republic of Ireland by tracked An Post, and small prints can often go out the same day. If we get your print wrong, we'll reprint it or refund you.
