Two-Tone Pencil Case

Two-Tone Pencil Case

We wanted a pencil case that could survive being thrown in a school bag, so we made one. We designed it in Bento3D, and printed it in two materials. The outside is PETG and the inside is PLA

It took about 5 hours on the printer and used around 250g of filament, all at our standard layer height.

For the hinge, there's no metal pin. We just pushed a short piece of filament through it, and it's held up really well.

Fancy one yourself?

Make your own in Bento3D at whatever size you like. A couple of tips before you order. Split it into its separate parts in your slicer and upload those, because uploading it as one piece makes the quote come out higher than it needs to be. And pop a note on your order asking for a spare bit of filament, so you've something for the hinge.
